The Vision Ally is a pair of sunglasses with a hidden small camera on the nose bridge of the glasses. This hidden small camera livestreams video to a mobile AI application that processes the video data and analyzes it. The AI then relays the analytical information back to the wearer via audio in the wearers earbuds. This allows for the wearer of the Vision Ally to have access to external information of the environment around them enabling constant assistance for those with visual impairment needs. Examples of what the Vision Ally can assist with are text detection and reading, environmental situation awareness, gps navigation, currency denomination recognition, barcode scanning, and facial recognition.
